Wow! It is HOT! In Myrtle Beach we have totally skipped spring. Not only have we skipped spring but, according to the temps you would think it's August already but it's not. Summer has just begun, and its time for some outdoor FUN!
One of the best things about owning your own home is simply taking time to enjoy it, especially when you have a nice yard. Enjoying that time can be done in the simplest ways like, having meals outdoors, playing corn hole with your family, birdwatching, or just sitting back enjoying the great weather.
If looking for ways to share the fun of your home with extended family and friends? What would be really nice; an impromptu pool party! Or a planned July 4th get together! I saw some really nice outdoor fun ideas, here are a few, compliments of HouseBeautiful, Red tricycle, Good Housekeeping, and Delish.

Pool Party Splash!
Amp-up your poolside with fluffy colorful pillows, and patio seat cushions to create a comfy colorful seating oasis around the pool. Another great idea for your pool party are lots of cute floats, and colorful balloons.
You can get creative with “Stations” for example, a “sunscreen Station” supplied with sunscreen, and hydrating mists, bug spray, and wet wipes. Another good idea, especially for kiddie parties, is a “towel station” strategically placed right at the entrance of your home for when your guests need to go potty, equipped with towels and flip flops.

Having a get together that needs to be kid friendly? Section-off a special area just for the youngsters supplied with outdoor games, arts and crafts, plan group activities like water balloon piñata, and water toys are a must.

Chic July 4th Soirée
Do you want to have an Invite Only 4pm- until adults only Soiree? Trade in the balloons for floating lanterns. When the party extends through sundown light up a fire pit, or hang lanterns on tree limbs. If you set up a Boho table for diner, your guests will be raving about your soiree and how creative you were for months!

No adult party is complete without virgin, or spiked, signature drinks, Delish features so many summer drinks that are not only intoxicating to taste but visually as well. The Instagram photos at your party may go viral.
Whether you have a pool or not, the point is to get outside and enjoy your home. Spend it with family and friends and make it memorable. Have a wonderful Summer!
